Visit the Canterbury Cathedral, one of the oldest and most magnificent churches in England. It is the seat of the Archbishop of Canterbury, the leader of the Anglican Church, and the site of the martyrdom of Thomas Becket in 1170. You can admire the stunning architecture, the stained-glass windows and the tombs of many kings and archbishops.

Explore the Canterbury Tales Visitor Attraction, where you can experience the stories of Chaucer’s famous characters in a fun and interactive way. You can join a group of pilgrims on their journey from London to Canterbury, listen to their tales and learn about life in medieval England.

Wander around the historic city center, where you can find many shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. You can also visit the Roman Museum, the Westgate Towers Museum and the Canterbury Heritage Museum to learn more about the city’s rich past.

Enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding countryside, where you can go for walks, bike rides or boat trips along the river Stour. You can also visit some of the nearby attractions, such as the Howletts Wild Animal Park, the Whitstable Oyster Festival or the Leeds Castle.

Canterbury is a place that will enchant you with its charm and inspire you with its history. It is a perfect destination for a day trip or a weekend break. That’s why Canterbury is one of the most popular places to visit in England.
